Cookies are small files your browser keeps on your device. This page lists every cookie Mudarraj uses, why, and for how long, the outside services that may appear inside our pages, and how you can control all of it.
In short
- Every cookie we set is our own (first-party) and is never sent to anyone else.
- We use them only for sign-in, account security, and remembering your language and theme.
- We use no analytics, advertising or tracking. That is why you don't see a cookie consent banner: everything we use is either needed for the site to work or stores a choice you made yourself.
- If we ever add an analytics tool or any non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
The cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
mdr_at | Keeps you signed in while you browse | 15 minutes, renewed automatically | Essential |
mdr_rt | Renews your session without asking for your password each time | Up to 30 days | Essential |
mdr_did | A random ID for your device, used for the device limit and to protect your account from sharing | 400 days | Essential |
NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language you chose | Until you close your browser | Preference |
mdr_theme | Remembers your theme (light, dark or match device) | 1 year | Preference |
Notes:
- The sign-in cookies (
mdr_at,mdr_rtandmdr_did) can't be read by scripts on the page and are only sent over encrypted connections. NEXT_LOCALEis set only when you pick a language other than the one your browser prefers, andmdr_themeonly when you choose a theme yourself.mdr_didis linked to your device list, which you can manage in Settings. Device limits are explained in the privacy policy and the acceptable use policy.
Outside services inside our pages
An academy may show content from other services in lessons or live sessions. Those services follow their own rules and may set their own cookies:
- YouTube: we show YouTube lessons through
youtube-nocookie.com, which sets no tracking cookies before you play, but YouTube may store data once you press play. - Cloudflare Stream: plays videos uploaded to the platform through short-lived links.
- Live sessions: links or pages from Cloudflare, YouTube, Zoom, Google Meet or Jitsi, depending on what the academy chooses.
- Payment gateways: Paymob or Fawaterak pages when you pay at an academy that uses them.
The providers and their roles are listed on the sub-processors page.
How to control cookies
- You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
- If you block or delete the essential cookies, you won't be able to sign in or stay signed in. Deleting
mdr_didmakes the platform treat your device as a new one, which may count against your device limit. - Deleting the preference cookies does no harm; your language and theme simply go back to the defaults.
